BJFe Red Rooster Booster (RRB) - The RRB is a very high headroom booster with 33db of boost and a flat EQ. On higher settings the RRB will produce some natural distortion of its own to go with the boost. It is highly regarded for its ability to push tube amps into rich, natural distortion while maintaining excellent clarity. As the boost control is increased, the pedal produces its own natural, "hairy," and uncompressed distortion, which many users find pleasing and aggressive. This grit helps the guitar signal cut through a mix. The RRB can even be used with bass and it will not boost any treble.
